Dutch Research School of Philosophy (OZSW)

The general purpose of the Dutch Research School of Philosophy (Dutch acronym: OZSW) is to strengthen the academic discipline of philosophy by (1) facilitating and stimulating collaboration between the participating universities in the field of academic philosophy, and (2) offering courses and training to young researchers (PhD students and Research Master students). To realize these goals, the OZSW runs study groups on a variety of topics and organises a range of academic events in the form of courses, masterclasses, workshops, as well as an annual conference. Activities within OZSW are organised by one of the three subdisciplinary sections: Ethics & Practical Philosophy, Theoretical Philosophy and History of Philosophy.
